New VREB newsletter quietly appears

Look who's in charge! It’s probably not coming to your inbox, virtual or otherwise. But the winter edition of VREB’s newsletter is up on the VREB site in all its PDF glory.

A few of the topics inside:

  • How to Upgrade from a Salesperson to a Broker License by Exam
  • Important Information for New Salespersons Licensed on or after July 1, 2008
  • Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act Annual Interest Rate Schedule

And, of course, the list of Disciplinary Actions, from "Failure to Exercise Ordinary Care" to the rather startling "Unworthiness & Incompetence" — with a few "Conflicts of Interest" and "Misrepresentation/Ommissions" thrown in.

    Aargh. Why PDF?

Thanks for the update – I probably wouldn’t have seen this otherwise.

  2. I also must note that, with this post, I have finally passed Ben in the number of things I’ve put on VARbuzz.

  3. Bob Jurgensen says:

One would think VREB would be progressive enough to allow licensees to sign up for an email version of the newsletter – versus having to remember when it posts and go there – basically they have put the burden on us – when a simple email sign up would be far more logical. I guess some agents in rural areas still don’t have email but they probably don’t have Internet either in that case. Poor planning and judgement.

  4. Yuck PDF. good to have a Realtor News Letter though.

  5. Excellent! Love when you save paper….

    BTW: Congrats to Carol Clarke!
