They’ll always have Paris

Better them than us.

Oh, gosh, too many snarky comments to make.Paris Hilton a Realtor?
(HOLLYWOOD) – Paris Hilton, famous for being famous, has told the British magazine Tatler that she is considering a career in real estate.

"I’m a brand. I’m a businesswoman,” she said in an interview. “I do everything – I act, I sing, I design, I write books. What I love the most is the business part. I like what it is leading to. I eventually want to get involved in real estate."

Ms. Hilton is a resident of California, where she presumably would be licensed.

    Andrew –

Do you think that VARBuzz could have a sideblog category, so that you can post stories like this, but not have them show on the main page?

Please take this in the constructive-criticism way that I intend it; Putting a story about Paris Hilton on the front page – when we are discussing substantive matters that can directly impact how Virginia Realtors do business – detracts from the conversation and credibility of the site.

Now, if she were getting a Virginia license …

  2. Ohhhh, we have a few Paris’….

Not sure how this got in my feedreader :)

THIS is where our industry is headed?

  4. If she decided to do this, I am sure on name alone she would succeed. Would she be a good Realtor, probably not, but then that is just my 2 cents. In my opinion being a good Realtor is more then treating the clients well, and delivering good service to them, it is can you do that and be reasonably profitable at the same time.

    Just my 2 cents,

    Jim
