HUD Homes — new(ish) search tool

Search Google for foreclosures, then head over to the HUDHomeStore, from the good folks at Housing and Urban Development.

You can search any area of the country (down to street level) with the typical choice of price range, number of bedrooms, etc.

You can also search specifically for homes under the Good Neighbor Next Door program (aimed at law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, and teachers), or those available to non-profits, or even HUD’s Dollar Homes (homes for a buck to qualifying families).

If you’re a visual person like me, you can also view HUD Homes on a map:

Bookmark it, and add it to the ever-growing list of "ways to search for homes."
