Japan tsunami relief

imagePlease remember that you can donate $10 to the Red Cross simply by texting “Red Cross” to 90999.

You can also give specifically to help Japan by going to the Red Cross’s site.

The Red Cross is well known and excellent, but the highest-ranking charitable organization (based on the work it does and how much of your donation actually goes to helping people, as opposed to paying salaries) is AmeriCares. You can donate to them through the Web.

Americans are the most generous people in the world. Let’s be sure we stay that way.

One Response to Japan tsunami relief

  1. Thank you for posting this. I cannot stop thinking what would I do if some similar disaster happened in our country. It’s not about being generous, I believe, it’s about being human.
