Tracking Hurricane Irene

Here is the latest NOAA prediction for Hurricane Irene‘s impact on Virginia. At this point, Richmond and Washington look to be on the edge of the affected area — that means rains (possibly heavy), but nothing hurricane-ish.

Of course, that’s just the current prediction. Things can change; keep an eye out.


And hopefully you’ve heeded NAR’s Call for Action and asked Congress to be sure the National Flood Insurance Program continues beyond September 1. Not only can the lack of flood insurance put sales in jeopardy, but you’ll be looking out for your clients’ interests for the long term.
