RIP, Encyclopaedia Britannica

Who needs libraries anyway, right?After 244 years, the Encyclopaedia Britannica is going out of print.

The last edition — published in 2010 — weighed in 129 pounds. On the other hand, it was readable in a blackout and without an Internet connection. And, of course, people didn’t laugh at you if you cited it.
