What’s with home prices?

Another day, another analyst releases housing-price information. Who can keep track? Answer: The Wall Street Journal. Well, sort of.
Just as I got excited over someone having done my work for me collected all the housing data, I realized that — although it was published June 4, the data are from March. Three months is an eternity.
Here it is:
What’s happened since then? Well today Clear Capital said in its May Home Data Index that home prices rose both quarter to quarter and year to year — for the first time since August 2010.
So there may be more good news coming down the pike, or the Clear Capital report may be an outlier. We’ll see.
