Senator Mark Warner will talk with Virginia Realtors at GetActive

Senator Warner(Updated 1/22 to clarify that Warner will be speaking via private videoconference; his schedule precluded him from appearing in the flesh.)

What does 2013 have in store for Realtors and real estate on Capitol Hill? Virginia senator and former governor Mark Warner will talk with (and answer questions from) attendees at GetActive, VAR’s Legislative Advocacy Conference, on Thursday, February 7 at 11:00 AM (at the Omni Richmond Hotel).

If anyone know what’s going on up in D.C., it’s Mark Warner. He’s on the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs — specifically, the Housing, Transportation, and Community Development subcommittee.

And Warner won’t be giving a canned speech about housing. He’ll be giving us a private videoconference, talking to — and taking questions from — the Realtors in the room. He’ll be speaking to Realtors specifically, and he’ll explain what kinds of changes to expect, and how they’ll affect your business. (After all, the guy’s a businessman himself.)

So be sure to register for GetActive — the early bird deadline (for the best rate) is January 28.
