Candice Bower of McEnearney Associates in Leesburg was named 2012 Virginia Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) of the Year.
CRS Realtors are specialists in home sales – they must have years of experience (Candice has been a Realtor since 1988), must complete extensive coursework, and they must have more than $8 million in transactions under their belts. (Only 3% of all Realtors have completed the CRS requirements.)
And that’s just to earn the designation. To be named CRS of the Year, Candice went above and beyond not only in terms of experience, but in giving back to her community through social and cultural organizations – not to mention being a local business leader.
Over the past 29 years, Candice has worked in the real estate industry in Maine, Massachusetts, and Northern Virginia – including opening businesses in Leesburg and Middleburg. She’s earned a list of awards for production, training, and achievement, and she’s actively involved local, state, and national real estate organizations.
A champion of property rights (“I feel passionate that private property rights, including favorable tax treatment to property owners, is fundamental to individual liberty,” she writes), Candice has earned the respect and admiration of her peers, and the Virginia Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists and the Virginia Association of Realtors are proud to congratulate her latest achievement.
