VAR team member Director of Education Lili Paulk drove to Warrenton October 16 to work with the Greater Piedmont Area Association of Realtors’ new administrative assistant, Michelle Shanks. She helped Shanks — who had only been on the job eight days — work with the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation to submit continuing and post-license education applications.

They covered the process for preparing and submitting applications, record keeping, and credit reporting — and 2013 GPAAR President-Elect Tom Campbell even stopped by the office to make an RPAC investment.

On October 17, VAR team members Vice President of Marketing and Communications Amanda Arwood and Legal Counsel Blake Hegeman also traveled to GPAAR to teach a course on “Social Media Risk Management for Real Estate” to members.
