]]> The Northern Virginia Association RPAC Trustees have endorsed Shawn Mitchell for the 13th state Senate district. Read on below for NVAR’s press release. It’s an interesting year: with redistricting, Realtors across the Commonwealth are interviewing and endorsing the candidates whom they may have never had in their districts previously. Your local and state association are actively involved in tracking the candidates who are best for your business and best for the future of homeownership in your town and across the state.

Ashburn, VA – Today, the Shawn Mitchell for State Senate campaign announced the endorsement of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors PAC (NV/RPAC).

“We’re proud to announce our support of Shawn Mitchell, a small business owner who understands how critical the real estate industry is to the health of our economy,” said Zinta Rodgers-Rickert, Chair, NV/RPAC. “We know that Shawn will be a strong advocate in the Senate for keeping our quality of life high in Loudoun and Prince William counties.”

The Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Political Action Committee, is a bi-partisan PAC representing the 10,000 members of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. These Realtors live and work throughout the region, with a large concentration in Loudoun and Prince William counties within the new 13th Senate District. Mitchell

 

was interviewed by the PAC Trustees as well as representatives from the Dulles Association of Realtors before the NV/RPAC Trustees endorsed him.

“I appreciate the support of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors PAC in my campaign to bring a mainstream, common sense voice to the Virginia State Senate,” said Shawn Mitchell. “As someone who started a small business during one of the toughest economies in our history, I understand the challenges Realtors and small businesses are facing from increasing sales, to making payroll and providing a quality service for their customers.”
