Scott you made my day. My husband and I see people like you described all the time at the gym. We call them the dah dupes. Isn't it magical how people just kinda live in their own little worlds with no consiousness of others. Your analogies were great!!

How many Realtors® do you talk to out there that say they also sell Herbs/vitamins/green cleaning supplies/jewelry? My question is always how do you find the time if your selling real estate? That usually works real well...

when i first heard of the 'air guitar' phenomenon, i did a quick look up on the web.. at first, i thought that some of the videos were kind of odd, but then some videos are quite funny actually, in the end, i just didnt know how i should feel about it... all the guys wore costume, some looked like rock god incarnates from the 70s, some from the 80s, and some from the 90's... all performed with such passion, strumming away to which ever song is playing in his head... every participant just rocked it out for all its glory... but then when you think about it, they are simply doing what they love to do, to rock in the free world! but of course minus the guitar... they may be pretending, but theres no harm in what their doing... but in real estate, its a totally different story... or STADIUM!

Another example of "air guitar" would be incorrectly spelling a classic Southern rock band's name, like Lynyrd Skynyrd (not "Leonard Skynard," as your article states). Your article reminds us all to be mindful of all facts, including correct spelling. Warmest regards, George

Amen, brother! After a day like today, when everyone I met seemed to be a wannabe REALTOR rockstar- I couldn't have said it better. Let those of us that care, keep preaching!

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

Young man, there's a place you can go.
I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.
You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time.

It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
It's fun to stay at the y-m-c-a.
